Communicative method
Il Centro is staffed by highly qualified mother-tongue instructors.
Lessons are conducted using the direct/communicative method and utilizing materials developed by the school staff.
The student is presented with a situation from daily life through the use of authentic materials. That situation is then analyzed in terms of grammar and of the linguistic functions it raises. Lessons are also supported by learning activities such as games, role-playing and videocassettes.
Research into new teaching methods and constant efforts to keep the personnel up to date allow Il Centro to produce valid materials and to satisfy the changing demands of students of the Italian language.
